Cost:
Assuming your commuting time is time you are paying a babysitter and not paying when you enroll in Downtown Denver Day Camp...
Babysitter: $8 per hour, 7:45 am – 5:30 pm, 5 days a week = $390 per week
Downtown Denver Day Camp:  8:00 am – 5:30 pm, 5 days a week = $325 per week
Plus, we provide the afternoon snack!

Activities:
Babysitter: anything and everything you can do in your house or nearby all summer long
Downtown Denver Day Camp: anything and everything a kid can do and have fun at downtown from Elitch Gardens to Rockies games to playing capture the flag in Commons Park.  Our backyard is just a little bigger than most peoples.  But that's not all, of course, our morning Discovery Sessions will be taught be real artists and teachers leading our campers in all sorts of brilliant activities – not that your babysitter isn't highly creative and brilliant. 

Quality Time with Your Kids:
Babysitter:  Pretty much none.
Downtown Denver Day Camp:  You commute with your kids.  You can have lunch with your kids.  You have the comfort of knowing your kids are nearby.  What could be better?

Today's economy is spiteful to say the least.  That's one of the reasons the weekly tuition for the Downtown Denver Day Camp is so affordable at just $325 a week for 7:45 am to 5:30 pm camp coverage.

But, that's not all!  We also offer to very important standard discounts to our families.

1) There is the full summer discount of 12%.  This applies only to families that pay the full summer tuition due on 5 May 2010, but it saves a substantial amount of money for families working to ensure their child has an awesome summer within the family budget.

2) There is a very special additional discount available for families who have one or more members that work in the Downtown Denver corridor for companies or organizations that employ at least 10 people with offices in the following zip codes:  80202-06, 80211, 80216, or 80218.  Specifically, the discount applies to employees whose companies have registered with the DDDC.  Ask your HR person for your company discount code, and if HR doesn't know what you're talking about give them this link (http://blog.downtowndenverdaycamp.org/2009/02/01/downtown-denver-day-camp-downtown-employee-discount.aspx).

The discount takes an additional 5% off the second and third sessions when you register for all three sessions!

Downtown Denver Day Camp is committed to supporting the needs of families with parents or guardians who commute and work downtown.  This is our neighborhood, and we want it to be your child's too this summer.  In support of our efforts to put forth one of the most exciting and thriving summer day camps in city history, we are hoping that Downtown Denver companies will help us offer their employees an additional 5% savings off our second session when they register for the full summer of three sessions. 

How does it work?  Well, first, there is no cost to you!

Second, the offer is open to any company, business, or organization that employees 10 or more employees and has an office in the following zip codes:  80202, 80203, 80204, 80205, 80206, 80211, 80216, or 80218.

When We Receive the Form
• We will verify the information
• We will reply to the person in charge with a discount code unique to the organization that must be used by any employees from that organization when they register for the camp. 
• We will include an email flyer and poster combination featuring the code that the HR person can forward to all members in the organization.
